Way back in my Ute (Cousin Vinny) when I lived down in SoCal me and my buddies would go out camping in the Mojave Desert. One of the places we discovered was the ruins of the Happy Bottom Riding Ranch which was featured in "The Right Stuff." There was a lot of memorabilia laying around and the main house (built with 2' thick mortared stone) was half fallen down. There were brochures and such laying all around IDing the place. Of course, being young and pretty stupid, after a few brews, we took to shooting out the mortar which finally caused a wall to give out and the roof to slide further off walls. Oh well, so much for history.
