Tote Gote clutch replacement

What are my best options (cheapest) for a replacement torque converter. 1" shaft motor and not worried about keeping it original. Just setting up a driver to run on my acreage. Would need to use symmetrical belts to match existing.

The Comet 20 is the most economical replacement. It is available for 1" shaft. To use with a Tote Gote, you would need to find a 1/8" spacer to fit between the two clutch halves. Comet makes a 1/8" spacer for the 3/4" shaft clutch but I haven't seen one for the 1". The Comet 20 usually fits a 3/4" wide belt. The spacer makes the clutch fit the 7/8" wide belts used on a Tote gote. A spacer washer could be found on sites like 'Granger' or 'McMaster Carr'. Look under 'thrust washer'.
