about year and half ago i bought my first bike, it was just a frame an mtd columbia it did not have the jack shaft, so i bought one on ebay that came with the driven part of the converter , i stuck a 6.5 honda motor on and found a used comet 20 driver and matched a belt and she took off great i mean it worked like a power guide, it carried the front wheel and pulled it up when it hit high gear,after going through three belts the driven part got stuck about two weeks ago and would not shift, so i took the spring off and oiled it and it started to move again but it shifts to quick and does not carry the rpms far enough , has any body got any ideas , if any body has got a old v-plex that they would like to sale please let me know, it seams to work better than the comet.
