looks like a Briggs 8hp to me. But I see what your saying. the pull cord should be facing the viewer, not the 1" shaft. ut::shrug:

Well aside from the fact that the pic was backwards and the outrageous price, its a Briggs not a Tec and it sure is a whole lot newwer than the late 50's earley 60's
