We didn't get much winter in these parts. The forces that pushed all of that cold air onto the east side of the continent left us warmer and drier than usual out here on the west coast. All they were talking about on the TV news was the possibility of drought and wildfires next summer. That was until last week, when temps dropped and I woke up one morning to nearly a foot of snow in my yard. Now we're back to the steady rain this area is known for.

But that was plenty of winter for me. I get to go to Florida in a few weeks for Bike Week, and this will make me appreciate it that much more.
