I've seen posts about the bronze bushing on a TAV setup. Recently I pulled mine apart to put the heat shroud back in place (Tucson, summer & very hot out now) after a few hours of break-in running. The bushing was missing, but it was already ground up into a fine dust & smeared along the inside...

I'm redoing a RTC-6 predator head with SS valves. I'm ready to install the bronze guides but are longer than stock. Do I cut them down or is longer better???? Bronze guides purchased from TIM ISKY (GREAT GUY TO DID WITH).
I have a Predator 212 with a RTC-6 head. It has stock 27/25mm valves but 5mm stems. I've converted to 5.5mm SS valves by replacing the guides with Bronze. DO I NEED THE VALVE STEM SEALS? HOW IMPORTANT ARE THESE SEALS?

I ordered all 3 sizes of the brass flanged bushings from OldMiniBikes warehouse for the neck of my 1966 Lil Indian 400. The only one that will fit in the fork neck won't accomodate the size of the bolt. Is there a special size bushing? 1/2" x 5/8" Bronze Bushing,5/8" x 3/4" Bronze Bushing, and the5/8"...

If so, what size reamer did you use? ... i.e. What clearance do you run to the valve stem?
I'm not referring to the 9/32" hand reamer and 1/32" oversize valve that's almost impossible to keep straight, I have a pair of 1/4" bronze valve guide...
Hwllo!!! I'm new here. Been trying to keep the clutch alive on my kids Motovox MBX10 Mini bike.
The clutch bushing dried up after only a couple of hours running. Now no matter what type of grease I use it dries up again and starts to grab.
It is a real pain to remove the chain guard...
