clones?

I have been looking around online for a Yanmar L-100 diesel engine clone, aka a Chinese "186F" or similar and I'm surprised at how hard they are to find. New ones aren't that plentiful, either, and I think real Yanmars may actually be easier to source. I can get clones new for $200/ea.....in...

Is there any quality difference between different makes of clones like the Predator and Titan? I am looking into a new motor and wondering if spending a little more gets you a better product. Thanks, Bob

Just curious how many of you use 390s or 420s in your mini bikes? Electric Start or Recoil?

i know that harbor freight stopped selling the 6.5 clone motors and are selling the 212cc predators now, but were can i purchase a clone? ive been to nr racing and they arent selling them either. if anybody has any info that would be great!!!:thumbsup:

I've set up two of these things with the Northern Tool twist throttles, and the cable last about 2 weeks... Is there a trick? I've had nice large radius curves to the cable and they get hung up and stop working.

Ok< i got one of the new clones....... but before it got here... i ordered a header, new air filter, jet, and throttle hook up..... all from affordablegokarts.com............... will these parts all still work on my "new" styled motor?

I hate the blue on the clones that I have seen. Anyone try to make them look old scool?
