I`m lookin to build another three wheeled mini bike and need a "peerless" type of differential. Last one I bought from Northern, worked well. Let me know what you have.
Hello, Im in search of a comet differential. For a Heald Hauler. Or any parts for the hauler. Bates headlight? But really need a better differential. my peerless one crapped-out. Welded gears now, so I know its just time. It prolly wont fail till im giving my mom a ride up the scenic hill! If...
Larry's differentials measure .83" with the rust protective coating? You would assume these were 7/8" axles. BUT the 1" axle bearings that I ordered from 2 different sources measure .84" ID.. I am assuming much like a 2x4 does not actually measure 2"x4" but is still called a 2x4 that these axles...
My brother picked up an Alsport rts 3 wheeler the other day but the diff is pretty much shot, the axle broke inside and someone welded it back together but not very well and it tore up other stuff... this has the 1" axles which are around 6" long on each side and keyed.. this has a 4 bolt...
of course i grease everything, but i know i have to take apart this go kart diff to put new grease in it...
im lazy, and dont want to go through the trouble. the diff seems to work as it should, and has some newish looking RTV sealing it
I know this kart sat outside for a while, but if it...
Hey guys,
as I was cleaning up differential I noticed a crack in the bushing. This might have already been there or maybe I caused it when removing axle - :shrugs:
I don't know how to remove or even where to get another......
Should I just apply a small light coat of jb weld to prevent...
At least that's what I think it is.....I'm 99.9% sure this drum is made to bolt up to the Peerless differentials. I bought this setup years ago from Yellowhand when I was building my trike. The drum is vintage NOS , quality made, heavy duty....measures approx 4-1/4". Bolts onto the existing...
i was talking to a member after mentioning that i could get a hold of some small lawnmower differential axles that would be perfect for making asphalt mini trikes.
the problem with a solid axle on a mini trike is the inablilty to steer. offroad is fine, you can slip the tires in the dirt, but...
I've been trying to find a replacement for my gokart's recently failed differential. The gears inside are all destroyed. I can't find a whole lot of information and parts are nowhere to be found. If anyone has a whole unit or parts I would happily buy it. I could weld the ring gears together and...
Im working on finishing my Tri-Sport TS-110, I need to replace the bearings on the differential axle. I got the differential off trike, taken apart. The inner 2 bearings slipped off with little resistance. However, the 2 outer bearings wont budge. I tried tapping them with a hammer but no luck...
3/4" Peerless differential with 40 tooth #40 sprocket. 24" overall length 10" and 14" to center. no keyways the long side has a hole. insides have been checked out and are in good shape. $50. shipped
Hi .. Need to replace bolts on my differential on my TS-110..having a ill trouble getting the differential off.. Does anyone kno what I need to do? I can't get the ends to come out of frame.. It seems like 1 of the set screws on 1 side is stripped but beside that ...how do I loosen the ends to...
Was kicking around an Idea for a simple differential and wanted to bounce it off the engeneers around hear.
I have to make my own hubs and was thinking if I put two one-way bearings in the hubs will this not make a crude differential. Only catch is you can roll backwards without brakes...
Picked up a couple of carts and "stuff" this axle was thrown in.Anybody tell me what the wheel is?Also what the heck is the thing in the middle of the axle?
It has no linkage or a place to put one.Almost looks like something to absorb shock, hell idk.Never seen either. What do you guys think...
For those who might need grease for their Peerless differential OldMiniBikes carries it. Peerless 788067C, make sure you get some of the correct grease for you differential/s. Now if I could just find me a Peerless Transaxle 915-032 for my Murray 30" midengine mower.
Finally took my differential apart and was wondering if i can use an automotive grease when i put it back together or if i need to track down the original kind they had used?
