dust

Hi! I am on my 4th and 5th Rebuild I was lucky in my first 2 rebuilds I did not need to replace (just the inside seals) . I am in dire need of the the hard rubber dust covers that slips on the lower shock absorbers. Anyone know where I can get these? I have ordered 3 sets online...

For the K & N knock off filters we are using.... I was un sure if it was to be oiled (with k$n oil) or not..... Well today I pulled it (never oiled) and found traces of fine dust around the pilot jet (idle) passages in the carb.....and on the adapter for the filter..... So i shot a light...

I put the first coat of paint on my custom today after giving my garage a good cleaning. When I was finished I noticed little spec/bumps on the back fender. I guess this is dust that has settled on the mini while the paint was wet. Can I wet sand those marks out? Maybe with some 1000 grit?
