Trying to get the fuel pick up tubes sorted. The shorter plastic one has broken off where it screws into the bottom of the carb. I'm not too worried about it as I will eventually drive out the stub...

I'm working on a throttle assy and some good sized airpockets showed up after some mods were made to the housing. Is welding or soldering etc. doable, or will it distort the assy? Worst case I could JB weld it and smooth it out but thats gonna kinda defeat the purpose as I want it to be...
I remember reading a pretty good write-up on repairing kickstands when they wear out, and allow the bike to fall over. Just did a few searches, and I can't find that thread. Can anyone help? I remember it had some great tips in it, and I need to make repairs. Thanks in advance- H Dave
