    Here's a rescue I found in a scrap heap headed to the recycler. From the Label its a Alexander-Reynolds Model 3011. Not sure of the year. I had one similar as a kid and thought I would get this one restored for my daughters. I'll post pics as I go along. First step will be stripping it down...

    what to salvage from pocket bike

    Bought a pocket bike for 20 bucks and was wondering what I should salvage. Looks like I could use tires and rims, disc brake setup,clutch and brake handles,and prob the carb for something.     what vertical shaft parts should I salvage

    One of the scrappers I know has 4 vertical shaft lawnmowers for me to take what I want befor he takes them to the scrap yard. My question is, what parts should I salvage for later use? I am a noob so not sure what is good to get. I don't want to save a bunch of stuff I can't use in the future...
