Looking for the short elbow pipe that connects the block exhaust port to the long tube chrome exhaust pipe on a BC1400. Should I be looking at my local hardware store? Could also use the 2 piece bracket that supports the chrome exhaust pipe at the rear of the frame.

Can anyone tell me the significance of the engine support plate? Changing engines and see the little engine has a support. I won't fit the larger engine and am wondering if I actually need it.

I have a flat head and was wondering if I can use one of the head bolts to bolt down my header support. The header is 24" long and from what I have read it's better to support it to the motor then to the frame. Is using a head bolt not recommend or will it be ok as long as I torque it down?
