Sorry I'm sober now, just kidding :shrug: I was having issues posting pictures. My question is for all you welders out there can this frame be repair ,somebody really did a number on it.

Do you ever use your welding shop as a painting area ?

Been "knocked down" There was only a touch of a weld left on one side of the motor plate when I got it and when I went to take the remains of seat off the strap came off with it, so I cut cut it apart and stuck it in the attic. Its actually not heavily pitted, or rotted out. $45 shipped

Any welders in westland mi willing to help me out? I need a 3" crack fixed on a mini frame.

im a millwright and do a fair amount of welding, i work in a billet and ingot conditioning mill where they grind the billets with 200 hp track grinders. the steel is high alloy , stainless etc. the air quality is very bad on the best days. well to get to the point, we were installing a new 54''...

I am looking for a welder to repair some minibikes and gokarts and maybe even make a frame or two down the road. I cant decide weather to get a arc or a mig welder? so I am wondering what people on here are using to weld heir frames. Like the harbor freight ones but not sure if they could weld...

Who here uses an arc welder? I have one and have recently come to hate it with a burning passion. I'm looking for a MIG because I hear that they are easier to use.
