True Rupp tecumseh HS40, meaning it's got the longer bearing supported crankshaft:thumbsup: Keyed and tapped. 1970 did not use a slanted intake rather a diaphragm carb, this is the original setup. and IT IS a lighted motor!

Been sitting on a shelf for a couple of years in my shop. It has been cleaned, flywheel pulled and ignition checked over. Starts right up, not smoking, good compression, etc.. I am only able to briefly run it as I don't have a remote tank setup for my bench test stand.

I have an OEM carb rebuild kit for this motor, I am pulling the carb and will go through it and install fresh diaphragm etc., but you will have to tune it in yourself. butterfly feels good not sloppy.

Tins are nice, no dents no rot, all there, air cleaner assy looks good as well with original decaling still visible. block is corrosion free but has paint flakes. crank is tight, no signs of leaking at the seals etc.. will need a gov/throttle spring/linkage installed and possibly re-adjusted as well.

$320 shipped
