see that too ole4. also note that the back pulley is made out of stamp steel(heavy) and not like the real jr dragster 340 is made out of machine billet aluminum. also wonder how well a 30 series style belt works under a lot of power with only one side gripping and the other flat...note good for racing.
also said out of stock...! one good thing it won't hang up like a comet 30 series will when it gets hot.
Wow... just....wow...
This thing looks good.
It will
help get rid of vibrations, caused by the stock driver weights.
I'm just curious how this will work with a stock 6" driven. As engagement (2500rpm) is like a stock 30 series driver.
Will it allow the engine to reach higher rpm's (as stock driver at approx 4000rpm) before the clutch is fully "engaged"? I mean; does it have a wider rpm range between engagement rpm and fully engaged rpm?
If it's fully engaged at 8500 rpm, it's not suitable for all engines.
Would the 6" driven need some adjustments with use of this driver? Stiffer spring, etc...
I guess it might be handy to order some spare belts along with it.
