5 horse briggs CAST IRON

Just got a bike with a 5 hp briggs with a CAST IRON bore
It runs good
just wondering if it's a special engine or just a runner!
Are these the type of engine that can be made to run better than a regular
5 horse because of the cast iron bore?

There are a lot more aftermarket pistons available for the steel sleeve Briggs.It might even be a bearing crank engine.What are the numbers on the shroud...Do you have any pics of this engine?
