6hp Briggs I/D help?????

Got an old Wards Power Kraft 2500 watt generator given to me. I cant find any numbers on this engine. I scrapped off the decal on the shroud and found nothing. All the other decals are weathered beyond any good. Anyone recognize this or where is the number/model/type located on this, I think maybe under the tank mount?????. Thanks

Looks like a 5HP Walt...Look right next to the carb on the shroud,they should be stamped in there.

BINGO: Thanks rocco, its there:thumbsup: I put gas in this thing and it fired right up...Decal said 6hp on it before I scrapped it off. The numbers are 147432 0685-01..I can look around now, Thanks

Thats a ball bearing, cast iron sleave 6 hp. Very nice motor. Was used on lots of tote gotes.

If it is like my 7HP briggs I got off a 3000 watt montgomey-ward generator it will have a tapered output shaft. Very nice motor if you can adapt your drive system (clutch etc.) to a tapered shaft.
