71 Rupp. Can I just replace the rim or do I have to find another wheel

I’d reuse the hubs if I could find a 12” -28 spoke replacement rim. Any ideas? I already tried steel wool.

I have one but it's a 24 spoke front. It's yours if you can use it. Not a beauty queen but solid.

I am a Pharmacist and you will definitely need to be up to date on your Tdap vaccine just to touch that rusted through Rupp rim. I am surprised that nobody seems to offer reproduction rims for the 12 inch Rupp bikes. Check out Ebay or Blackwidowmotorsports.net to see if they have anything.

The hubs clean up pretty good. Now I just have to find a 12” rim to mount them to.

It looks like 12” CRF50 wheels (aftermarket, stocks = 10”) are 28h, so maybe something along those lines might be adapted? Thanks I've been scouring the net and I see mostly aluminum anodized 32 spoke. I found a steel 28 spoke with tire a whole wheel in Canada but I have to disassemble it I'm still looking for a chrome steel 28 spoke bare rim...the ones so far are all 32 spoke.
