aggie and taco 22 forks

Can any one tell me if the aluminum part of a taco 22 forks the same as aaggie or king o lawn . I'm missing one fork leg for my aggie and the pics of the taco lowers looks the same if they were I will just order new ones for a taco and make them work. Any help will be appreciated thanks Eddie

I actually tried that on my Mickey bike and Taco 22 but I can't remember the results.:laugh: Send me a PM tomorrow and I will check that for you. If you don't send a PM, I will forget.:laugh:

Taco 22 forks use 5/8" axles and the long metal shaft is shorter on the taco also. The Mickey bike and Aggie forks use 3/4" axles and longer metal shafts. However the early 1964-65 Taco forks used 3/4" axles, like on the Taco 55 with the early tri-spoke wheels. Thats all I know, I am sure some of the other guys know more than me. HD

Oh yeah the Aggie and King O Lawn use wheels with 5/8" axles so they use shims/washers to fit into the 3/4" forks. HD
