Am I missing a part

There are 3 pics about 3 posts back, this is how I inherited it, there was no traditional mixer , it had a B&S FLO JET carb installed which I replaced with this carb which I believe is better suited for the low cc of the engine, I have never seen it run with the Flo Jet although some members have seen run many years ago, who knows, this is truly experimental hoping for good results.

Cool setup, thanks for the pics. I like the use of a garden tractor transmission. the Flowjet definitely looks like it belongs there, why was it a problem?

Could never stop them from leaking, this carb seems more suited for the 60cc capacity just can’t get it adjusted. Throttle cable is all setup, may need to rejet, I have good suction at throat .

Those are air atmospheric pressure vents. They allow clean air into the fuel bowl and the fuel/air mixture. They are located right there so they draw clean air from inside the air filter.
