Are carbs interchangable?

I have a '60 Go Devil (gas/oil mixture) and the carb needs to be replaced. I don't have much details about the engine ( I think it is a Kawasaki) and I can't find any numbers. Can I use any carb or are carbs specialized to the engine?

Yes, many carburetors are interchangeable. I have a Tecumseh with a Honda carb on it. Post some pictures, I am sure there are guys here that can tell you exactly what will fit if they know what it looks like.

All kinds of carbs you can use if you get the right sizes. Look for two stroke carbs used for similar size engines or slightly bigger.:thumbsup:

hard to tell from the pic, is it a flange mount or spigot mount??

I plan on removing it from the motor after June 13. I'll try to get better pictures and more information.

spigot mount. Something like a pocket bike carb would work. Im not sure the cc of the motor but the most of the honda's had those type of carb setups. Do a search on flea-bay for your cc motor and honda. You should find one.
