Atlas MB3000 newbie to forum from Minnesota!

#1
Greetings everyone. I'm so glad I found this forum. There is not as much information and enthusiasts for mini-bikes compared to old classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts. I have a Atlas MB3000 mini-bike (circa 1972'ish) that I had as a kid growing up on our dairy farm. It had been in a shed for years and years and now I'm restoring it fully. Where do I upload pictures? 100_2183.JPG John_and_Minibike.jpg Minibike_02.jpg

Love the atlas mine is a tt5000 fun machine but when original engine wore out I put on a HS50 and while it runs great, with the torque converter it wheelies too easily preventing kids from riding it. A number of my adult friends were also thrown off.

Glad to have you part of the minibike world, I also have my childhood rupp minibike, I had it 40 years and restored 3 years ago to show room condition a 1970 rupp Enduro, now I own 24 rupp mini's, hope you catch the bug
