Not interested in telling you anything. Just pointed out that there are a whole slew of vintage karts out there running more power, including dual Macs. (I couldn't see the brakes or the curbs in the video.)
I am keeping the scrubs on my 61 Fox Special, but using a smaller engine. (WB 580) So those brakes are actually pretty high tech as far as I'm concerned.
And yes, someone here is restoring a mini bike with twin 810's iirc.
Back in the day I raced a Fox Kart with twin West Bend 820s -dual carbs running 50/50 gas alky--now that was a ride! That is why I am putting an 820 in a Tom Thumb Trike and geared properly I don't think it will kill me--we'll see.
I like your kart too, where do you live, Cartoon Land? Just kidding. I've never owned a WestBend engine, only McCullochs. The torque is amazing for the weight. It would be hairy on a mini bike. The kart is a single wheel drive, it runs up quick.
So I have a question not being a two stroke guy... To buy a vintage west bend or Mcculloh is ridiculous but I can buy a vintage chainsaw for a fraction of the cost.. How hard is it to convert a CS motor to a mini bike
I've raced karts for years, and I didn't like running with curbs on both sides. Normally, off track means sliding in the grass. Not in this case. I would enjoy the guy's with the tame comments video's. I would like to see the depth of speed you enjoy.
I want to add, I've run my two wheeler pretty hard a time or two.
I liked the video. I would love to have a 2 stroke on any bike or cart. The problem is the noise. I would have every cop in my town chasing me if I drove it anywhere around here.
2 stroke = speed
The cops would be licking their chops the second the motor started.
