Bearkat Twister survivor (sort of)

#3
It's pretty "clean" from as far as I can tell. It looks like it wasnt ridden very much. I'm going to clean it up and see if I can get it running as is. The engine is free, but there are some rust issues. The flywheel is pretty rusty and some of the fins are broken. The gas cap is frozen/rusted on and you can smell the bad gas in this thing from across the garage. It spent some of it's life here in Wisconsin so it has some rust.

I've been working on two other bikes so that I can get my kids riding a little bit, but I'm getting anxious to start working on the Bearkat. Im sure I paid too much for it, but I had to have it.

Is this the right tank? It measures approximately 5.5"w, 6.5"t, and 8.5" long

I was going to use it on my Bearkat, but my original Bearkat tank has the pressed ends. This NOS one has a brazed seam in the center.
