Bonanza MX fiberglass fenders

#1
Alot of people have been asking me to make these fenders in fiberglass. Here is the first rear fender out of the mold. Still needs to be trimmed up.The front fender will be the same fender but shortened up a bit. Thanks George 3 for use of the original fender to make the mold !
I think Dave Miller makes these and sells them for $150.00 for the pair, mine should be alot cheaper. You will need to make your own brackets or use originals.

I used two layers of black gelcoat and two layers of thick glass. This is really a thick fender. Probably use thinner glass for the next one. That guard looks good ! I also make a Bonanza guard.

ok your the guy that was making the glass guards:rolleyes: i will have to keep you in mine.
think i know someone that has a bonanza bike that is missing fenders and a guard.......

have you thought of using a thin piece of steel in the glass to help keep the mounting holes from cracking down the road from vibration? or do you think that would be more of a problem?

I've never had any problems with my fiberglass cracking around holes drilled. My stuff is usually pretty thick. The back fender only takes three holes and they are spaced out pretty far from each other and the front fender takes two holes, one at each end.
