breather tube

I Have a different carb on my 3.5 briggs
The tube that goes from the breather to the carb can I relocate the tube other than the carb.
Like run it from the breather to the bottom of the block not in the block just at the bottom???.

Some Briggs came with a plastic tube bent straight down for the breather like this one in the pic.

But on this Briggs of mine, I used a crank case breather that I hose clamped right onto the rubber grommet.

Depends which route you want to go. :shrug: Hope I helped.

No, actually it is the Huayi carb from the 2.8hp engine that comes stock on a DB30. It ran quite well on that Briggs until the plastic arm on top broke off. I just never got around to brazing it back on. Supernova did a thread on it one time and I copied him.

Ya, it was a pain in the ass to figure out, and took lots of trial and error, and it still looks pretty sketchy. :doah: I used part of the linkage that was on the 2.8hp motor for that too.
