Briggs 5 hp gas tank

Currently I am switching the gas tank on my briggs to another location. Has anyone ever did this before? I wish to keep the stock carb.

have done this but changed to tillotson carb

yes you cannot keep the stock carb. you have to switch to a aftermarket that could need a vibrationd fuel pump if the fuuel is not fed by gravity

Ok, I almost have it working, but could I get some links to good carbs not ment for racing and adapters?

Is this what I would need to remove the gas tank and mount the carb for a 5hp Briggs Flatheat, so I can put the tank up front???

that is not an adaptor for a stock carb. it is for a tillotson.
