Briggs 5hp - Metallic Grey color - Cylinder head

#1
I am looking for a Cylinder Head in new or almost new condition.
It has to be a single tab head with good metallic paint on it like the one in this picture.

Thanks

theres lots of things you can do for pretty cheap.. A high compression head won't do hardly anything if you're low of compression to begin with.. When you give it a valve job, set the valves with a couple thousandths extra clearance so they seat tight and the piston makes compression the whole way up the cylinder.. You'll definitely feel that hypo head then.. Port polish helps.. Just the intake side probably on a stock cam engine but it never hurts on the exhaust side I suppose.. a 3 horse flywheel will get stuff moving pretty fast.. Indexing your flywheel helps some.. You can buy keys that are offset to advance your spark... Theres lots of little tricks that don't require a 400 dollar engine..

But if your engine runs strong anyways, you should notice a hypo head.. starting it up for sure..
