Hi rick, I am a newbie so I can't speak to duster guard brackets, but here is what I did for my Cat 250 . Toilet tank parts from lowes or Home Depot . Chrome and pre drilled for 6 bucks. I cut and bent to fit, put a nylock nut on the back side with jb weld and good to go. I did set mine up off the crank cover bolts( which some would say is a no no...) I did notice a pic on google images coming off the front engine mount , and if you need to hide one on the inside maybe solder.. The bonus in the toilet tank is the long pull knob that could be used as a choke lever on something.
