Hey all, I'm Rick, newbie on this site. I'm a mid 40's kid! I just bought a 6.5 from HF. I was reading about the gov and came across something about a cheater spring. What and how and where do you put it?
My old tech 6.5 went boom! Swallowed a valve as I was trying to sell it. I have a murray kart like a mini sand rail I guess. So I did a total restore. Put the engine on and all was well but I can see I'm gonna need a little more POWER! I don't want to replace the rod and flywheel etc. I am selling this. The new owner can do as they please. So whats the deal on this cheater spring and how can I tweek this 6.5? I want to keep it mostly stock.
