Hello, new to the site.
whoa to many Icons.
do my photos workie?
Old mini bikes are cool.
This (if the photos even post)
Is a whatever brand with a early 1950's S6 motor,
a frame I repainted ( done body work for 20+ years )
and a seat that I recovered. needs more work yet.
but it has that cast iron engine sound.

Cool! Not many people have a running cast iron engine let alone install it in a vintage mini! Thanks for the pictures.

I new it was factory made (serial number)
but that was about all I knew.
these are the stock wheels?

Yours has the factory mags and brake set-up. Take a peek at my picture of the gold 1300 above. Post away..always good to see more Cheeftahs popping up.:thumbsup:

I need brake shoes, They are 4" any idea of the best place to get them.
I asume The Cheeftah was built with the "scrub" brake but it was not installed on this model?
any links to Cheeftah info? all I found so far was a brochure .pdf

I have found out very little about parts sources for the Cheeftahs. Once in awhile you can find a couple parts on e-bay. Sorry can't help much more. And thats a nice roller you got there smallbikes88. It took me a few months to find the matching fender for mine. I think a guy in Yale Mich. has 1 fender still on e-bay.
