Removing the tires....best way to get old tire off the insides? I tin snipped them off........buckeye????

I would have left a little more sidewall and then I put it in a vise (with something to keep the jaws from marring the rim) grab the sidewall with vise grips and the carefully use a dremmel with a cut off wheel to cut through the belts in the bead  A little WD40 or PB Blaster to help cut the corrosion wouldn't hurt

i've used a propane torch before to melt away some of the rubber, just enough to get at the wire in the beads and cut with sidecutters

Success! I was cutting my second tire off and the maintenance guy at work was watching me. I got one wheel half free and he grabbed it, a screwdriver and a pair of tin snips. Pried the bead a little, snip, and the bead popped off the wheel half. So the same happened to all of my wheel halves. And I was worried.....
