Is it just mine or dose everyones stock chain rattle on the stock motor. I have adjusted the chain adjuster thing all the way and it still lose. Is the idle speed to high?? What about the chain is to long can anyone tell me??

Chain Rattle

On ours the chain is hitting the chain guard, bent the guard out a little bit, this has helped but I can still hear it rattle when we ride it on bumpy terrain.

If your chain is tight enough then i dont know what to tell you. You can also slide the entire engine forward to tighten the chain more

Take a pair of tin snips and remove the little bit of sheet metal under the front screw hole of the chain guard. Make a slot out of it in effect. Loosen the back screw and rotate the chain guard up. You will probably gain close to 3/8ths of an inch in clearance. Add a washer to the front screw and tighten.
