DB30 frame stretch

#1
Has anyone stretched the frame on a new style db30? The new frame has a bend under the seat. Trying to figure out where to cut it to extend it. Also, anyone know the size of tube they use for the frame?

Thanks,

Jeff

I would cut it before the first bend just behind the front plates at the neck and then cut it centered under the eng plate..That should leave you with straight pieces to weld in and still retain the stock seat... This will also keep the engine in stock relation to the rear tire so you won't have a super long chain..

I done a 7`` on mine......I had to use pipe from lowes on part of it......let me know & I`ll look it up.....but it turned out fine with a 420cc...

I just finished mine, I did a 6" stretch. Turned out pretty good, I did as 125ccCrazy suggested with the cutting position.

Thanks again for everyone's help!
