Diffferent Clones?

Not sure what is different, but I dunno why you would want an engine certified by CARB if your in Kansas. Just more junk to take off, hopefully none of the internal components are different.

Well I wanted a clone and I found one really cheap on ebay but its carb certified too, hopefully its only externals of the engine. Those are going anyways.

i have one of these from harbor freight and ive just begun to work with it like governor removal etc it seems the same just a different gas tank and mounts for gas tank to block are different..... but im not finished yet.... and mine says not far sale in california LOL so i dont know why people say its for cali. compression is listed as 8.5 to 1...what is the original clones compression????

they just changed the way the motors look because of a law suit.

my CA 5.5 just had some extra hoses for stuff and a charcoal canister on it. mine runs hard so i don't think there's any difference except for that stuff.

Just recieved 2 clones from h/f. The CALF. clones end with 500 on the part#
and 549 on the non-CALF. Anyway thats what the lady said when i ordered them.
