For the final finish, would you wet sand the final coat and then clear coat or would you live with the final coat of orange paint?

On the forks the final orange coat is deep in color and glossy. Has very slight symptom of sandpaper finish. For the frame I've sanded the second to last orange coat smooth. The gloss is gone. So my question to you is whether the next orange coat should be left alone or wet sanded and then clear coated.
