I have a brand new Fairbanks Morse pull starter. This will fit Some Tecumseh's, Kohlers, and West Bend engines. This is in a Kohler box, but FB made these for Kohler. Labeled FB on inside. This is NOS and has some shelf wear. Cheaper on OldMiniBikes than eBay at $110.00 shipped. PM me if interested

That's the nice early one with the "smooth" casting. Later ones had a raised center that was ugly. They're reversible too. That's the one the kart guys fight over.

Never understood the reasoning behind the raised center...I never saw one break or wear out in that area. Almost like they did it just to have a place to put a decal or something.

Maybe not really "ugly"....but not as pretty as this:



On a side note I once took one of those and used a file to very carefully smooth down the raised section, polished it up and you couldn't tell it from a vintage smooth casting..
