How do you remove these freewheel hubs from the rear wheel? I want to get a non spinning hub on here. Seems like it would thread off but then im thinking i need a special tool?
take it to a bicycle shop. They have the different freewheel removal tools. There's more than just one style and they are like $15-20 each so take the wheel there and have them take it off for $5.

Yeah. I think ill buy one. Im also hoping I can get another one that threads on that isnt freewheel. I think the engine im going to use requires a stronger hub.
They spin OFF in the same direction that it freewheels....On a bicycle when You pedal, the direction that it spins will always tighten it on the hub....So it is spun counter clockwise to loosen....Scootercat....
