I'm looking for a suitable disc brake for my Buffalo. It can be mechanical, or hydraulic, but it must be made for a fork (unlike go kart's "Airheart" type caliper). My friends tell me to use a good disc assembly from a bicycle. They argue that since the minibike's tire is a smaller diameter,the brake will be even more effective, and that I don't want to be able to lock up the front wheel anyway. I saw a setup on a friends Yamaha scooter which would be the cats ass, but I imagine it would be too expensive unless I could find someone parting out a wreck. I have access to a mill, lathe, and welder so I can take care of the hub and caliper mount. Any ideas?
