GOOD brakes for Tote Gote Model P ??

Is there a kit..or ideas... to replace the Schwinn front brake. It has gotten away from me a time or two. I want to give it to my Grandson..but NOT with those brakes...thanks..jerry..

Does the rear brake work?

Yes...It's not bad..I've tried to adjust the front. Still not safe enough..The bike was restored a few years ago..

The Schwinn brake was the most effective brake for Tote Gote. I would see if I could find brake linings for the original.
