Greetings Everyone ! I'm new to the site, and posted this earlier in the wrong forum. I just found this last monday on craigslist for $400. It has most the parts, minus an original motor with lighting. I was thinking about running lights with a 12v mower battery, has anyone done that?
Gonna try to get the motor running today, the carb is haunted . The jackshaft has a little bend, it wobbles just a little bit. I'm going to try and save some money and do the paint, can't afford the powder coating. i'll update any significant progress. Cheers

Welcome to the madness Karl. During riding season we get together every 3rd week or so and ride around Lowell, just east of Grand Rapids. I know it's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it. We usually get 10 - 20 miles in of scenic backroads and such, a really great group of guys. I post the rides in the event section, so keep your eyes peeled come springtime.
