If the cylinder isn't scored up or doesn't have a ridge around the top you should be able to just use standard size rings unless your planning on file fitting the .010 rings to your stock bore... You'll have to have a hone
(I prefer ball hones), hone the cylinder so you get a nice cross hatch pattern and get rid of the glaze, clean all the carbon off the piston, head...As mentioned above a ring compressor is definately recommended so not to break a ring installing the piston.... The block and all the parts should be throughly cleaned...
