I have decided to try to sell my Heathkit Boonie.
Originally when I got this bike (from the original owner) it was not running and in need of a good cleaning. It also did not have the lights and horn on it. However, the lights and horn are original from Heathkit and were on another boonie bike I had. I also replaced the gas tank with a period correct tank, matched the Briggs white and aged it to the patina of the bike.
The bike runs strong. Two speed trans works as it should. Lights and horn need a battery to be operative. Also includes the original ski.
All original paint, seat, clutch guard(splash guard added), clutch, tires, etc.
Asking $950.
Open to trades, looking for a decent ruttman pac mule in similar condition.
I'll have this at the minibike swap meet/show in Inkster, MI on Sunday, September 21. If that helps anybody with shipping.
