New here and looking for info on modifying the 6.5 briggs intek for my barstool. I sometimes pull cars with it and have a small trailer I sometimes attach for hauling people, parts and other things. I am wanting modify the engine for more low/mid range torque and help it breath a bit better, just added a Tillotson carb to the engine and am looking to find parts to compliment it. I am thinking of changing the cam, port or swap the head, and strengthen the internals enough to support the extra power/rpm. Anyone have any experience with modifying these engines or suggestions.
