HELP! Crack!

Working on my h70 bronc. Found this Crack below drive shaft. I'm a novice and I need to know what my options are moving forward.
Picture is posting upside down-not sure why...

If that is a side cover, I would say a new side cover.
Some may JB weld but I believe JB is to be used in emergency fixes to get home next day or something temporary.

if its not leaking, watch it. if its leaking, RTV it, or grind out a little metal and JB weld.

if JB weld is just temporary, then you must be looking at a 200 year scale!

Take it off and pull it apart and have it welded , and be done with it .

That's a long crack. I would take 125ccCrazy up on his offer.

Curious what would cause it to do that?? Seems odd but whatever. Just replace it-

Im dealing with the same thing on my 73 briggs the crack goes down from the crankshaft..

probrobly because of the torque converter plate. either the years of vibration and stress or maybe somebody layed it down too hard. Replace it. Its not hard and youll get to clean all the sludge off the bottom.

jeep is right. its from the twisting of the torque converter plate. you might want to brace the plate if you can

this is what I have, all blasted..just swap your gov parts over or leave them off.....
