Help locating front axle for Heald Super Bronc

Have been unsuccessful in locating an axle for the front of my '71 Heald Super Bronc mini bike. Axle is 5/8" diameter with
fine threads and is 13" long. Any suggestions for a source? Thank you!

As a fellow Super Bronc owner (VT-8), that ^^^^^ is where I would start. If you are unsuccessful in locating one anywhere, be advised that we have some very talented members on this forum that could fabricate one for a fee.

I bought 5/8" round stock from McMaster Carr and threaded it with a die purchased from McMaster Carr.

I go to a local industrial supply store that specialized in fasteners. Get them in stainless with lock nuts. A bit pricey but will never rust up and is good and hard. Cost me about $8.00 for one.
