How much more power is a raptor five horse over a regular Briggs five horse

I don't know about the two particular engines you speak of. But I have always thought that 5 minus 5 was 0. Peak rpm and torque values may help you discover any differences. Have you tried to research these numbers.

My experience is that the Raptor has no governor, and it will rev higher, giving more potential speed, but they still have about the same power and torque.

Raptors were typically run on methanol in the WKA and I think averaged around 10 hp+. A regular Raptor on pump gas, not sure there.
