how to make a simple clutch and chain guard?

Clutch and chain guard

Bronc, very neat and clean build .... I like the looks of that chainguard.

Pretty much on the clutch and chain guard, you just need something to protect your foot and leg in case the chain breaks or the clutch fails. I've seen a pretty simple effective guard made with flat bar stock for the outside bracing, and wire mesh for the rest, like a belt guard on one of those industrial compressor motors. Steel shelving works good, too.

I know this isn't on a "true" mini bike, but this is one I fabbed up from some old flat-bar wrenches. Upper engine mount is built the same way.

Oh, yeah, and that IS an Altoids can for an air cleaner.
