.021 in da hole so stock length rod it is and I'll use a .010 head gasket. I have to order rod , cam and flywheel next week , going to be mild build , Dyno Core Grind cam and 18lb Springs, I'm going to just jet up the stock carb .
My brake set up came in , dual piston hydraulic from a MM212 ,really sweet as it was dirt cheap , matte black finish ( that is color scheme) and has a 64" hose so reaching with the extended swingarm will be perfect!
Nice start! I’ll be watching that extended swing arm build since you guys all have more wrenching tools than I. I’m making a trail horse with the jack shaft mounts a little longer to get the original swing arm back a couple inches so I’m really interested in how you do it.
Just sharing my 3" extension
I used 3/8" flat bar, pre shaped before welding. It needs a little more shaping & a touch of bondo. I'm pretty happy with it......
Frame stripped and ready for surgery , neck tube is split down entire center , have to weld up some modified engine slots and I believe I'm gonna relocate the jackshaft mounts versus modifications to the swingarm, got all the parts including go fast stuff so its Corona Lock Down Time !
ok, rear tire mounted, sprocket adapter and rotor mounted and spaced out for caliper clearance. Back to plan A , swingarm to be widened and lengthened as the entire wheel set up is too massive , no worries!
I got all the frame repairs done today, I also tacked the extended swingarm together to bring to my buddies shop tomorrow to be Tig welded, I'm out of flapper wheels so grinding wont take place till at least tomorrow evening.
Since the fork trees are not triangular on the Chinese MONSTER MOTO forks I have made some triangle trees to weld onto the Monster Moto trees , going to be way easier than making complete new ones .

I was able to assemble the widened and extended swingarm with the jackshaft, all looks good , I've pinned down the rear shock location and the hydraulic caliper, now more fabrication.
