Is this HS40 meant for a slanted application.?

I bought a 70 Rupp Roadster today and this lighted coil motor was on it. I believe it's a 1973. Just wondering if this came off of a Fox or something along those lines. I know the 70 Rupps are painted silver with the balloon decal,and the 71-3 Rupps are black with the Rupp Industries sticker.This one is white with the flags.It has the hs40 slanted intake on it . Any help identifying is appreciated!

That motor will work on slanted motor plate but may want to change the intake to a slanted type intake

It has the slanted intake. Just wondering if someone could decipher the 55425D to see if the intake was added or factory . It also has a dipstick.

Partstree says a HS40-55425D should have a Tecumseh 33301 intake manifold. I believe that is the slanty p/n. :thumbsup:
